Republicans say there is a media bias. A poll by msnbc proved this. Journalist 90% to 10% gave to dems in the 2004 election.
We know that scandels involving OUR party will be reported so much more than those on the left, correct?
IF we know this going in, why do we complain when it happens??
Republicans say it is not fair, and then point to liberal wrongdoings.
We all make mistakes, but we know republicans are held to a higher standard.
We claim to be the party of values, should we not prove it??

Yes, and Republicans ARE proving this, by making Craig resign (I predict it's coming before the weekend.)

I also wish some of my fellow "law and order" conservatives would stop trying to second-guess the cop also.

I do think it's relevant to point out that the Democrats' miscreants rarely resign (Bill Clinton, Ted Kennedy), while Republicans force theirs out quickly (Foley, Craig).

Hey, it's 1 PM EDT and Craig hasn't resigned, yet. Maybe I'll be wrong!

A happy weekend to all!

:)

You are right. People who are held to a higher standard have the duty to maintain moral behavior. Yes, we all make mistakes, but when a person chooses to be in the public eye, they have a duty to keep themselves in check. Especially when we all know that the democrats are in overdrive trying to spotlight the not-so-perfect Republicans.

I guess my training in MI is showing, I'm always wondering who is manipulating the information. Why did they pick this time & this person. I have no idea if he did/didn't. What votes outside of the gay agenda did he mess with? The power brokers can manipulate us really well.

Facts ought to be presented to the public however unpleasant some of them may be to a given party and people associated with it!

I think we do prove it by standing our ground in our beliefs, but we are all human and make mistakes and when one of our own does we should still have their back even if we shake our own heads in disappointment.

Your quoting the liberal media to argue that the media is liberal biased...either they are a good source or they are biased. You can't have it both ways.

We do, we get rid of our trash. Too bad the Democrats hang onto theirs.

I enjoy reading the Washington Post in which I don't see any bias at all.
