Once she becomes sexually active, or before she plans to become sexually active. You can even take her when she starts having her periods. Whichever your preference.
My first trip to the gyno was when I was 16. I had finally plucked up the courage to tell my mum **4 months after my first experience**, so she scheduled the appointment for me....and 2 days later I was in a hospital gown, lying on a table, butt to the edge, with my feet is stirrups.
Edit-So I've noticed that you're giving nothing but thumbs down to the ladies who say 'when she starts having sex...' She's going to do it one day. And hunny, you need to realize that.

18 or when they become sexually active is a good answer, however that's assuming the daughter is going to come right out and tell her mother that she's sexually active, which no mother should count on happening no matter how close they are to their daughter.
My mom took me when I was 16, and I think that was a good age even if she's not sexually active.
The only thing I would suggest is that you ask if she would like to have you accompany her there or not. Don't just assume she does or she doesn't- she'll appreciate you asking instead.

I think it's a very good idea to take her sometime kind of soon after she starts her first period. Thats when I first went-
and then whenever she's mature enough to handle the responsibiltiy of taking birth control pills-they are good for more than preventing pregnancy . .I've taken it since I was younger to regulate my periods, and keep my face clear. .and it was before I was sexually active.
I also think taking her at a young age is a good way to make her understand more about. .her body, sex, using protection, etc., and also to make sure her body is normal & healthy.

What age did you go?
I went at age 11 when I started menstruating.
You should either go when you start menstruating, BEFORE you plan on having sex, or if you are having concerns about your period (in this case "you" is your daughter).

I would say at least 18. If your daughter goes on birth control prior to that, she may need to be seen by a gyno then. I know that some teens have probs w/ their cycles and see a gyno for that as well.

Usually it is 18 or once they become sexually active (whichever comes first). Unless they are having problems. You can probably take her once at like 16 just for a check up.

If it's to watch your check up/treatment 11 or 12. If it's for her as soon as you find out she is sexually active.

I was taken when I had my first period. That's probably the perfect time, as they are definitely the specialists.
