Far from it. I took a Epidemiology course( basically a statistical course about different types of death and who was more prevalent). The suicide rate was 60% higher amongst rich people than poor people. I know the saying "money doesn't buy happiness" sounds like a clique, but it's statistically true. If you think about it, the one thing that motivates us desire. The desire to have the things we want because we feel like once we do, we'll be happier. But what happens when you have everything and your still unhappy.
Janet Jackson said it best after her suicide attempt. "There's nothing worse than having everything you've ever wanted and still being unhappy", because what do you have to strive for or desire.

Rich =/= Perfection.
Nobody has a perfect life, no matter how much money you make. Although, rich people should feel lucky and grateful b/c a lot of people are poor.

It's a big world and unfortunately lot's of people don't get given the same chances in life as others.Just because someone is rich doestn't make them happy.
someone can be rich but still be subject to: depression,mental illness,abuse,violence and maybe just being ignored.
like i say not everyone gets a fair chance!

In the eyes of everyone else, their lives seems perfect. But rich people have their own struggles as so do we common folks. We'll never know unless we step into their world.

I hate to burst your bubble, BUT, while money can buy many things it doesn't do squat for peace of mind or for serious mental, emotional or psychological problems except buy the services of a good shrink and often enough, that's NOT enough.

Rich people's lives aren't perfect. Mental illness affects a lot of people regardless of their financial status. Good luck. 2D

Money doesnt make you happy, but it can make it easier to be happy......
If you have a lot of cash and use your additional free time to see friends or indulge your passions then good on you. But if you rich and allow yourself to become isolated by your wealth, it wont on its own lead to a happier life....
