There's no doubt in my mind. Unlike others here, I don't really rely on polls. However, for those who do, he's already been placing first place in many states. He placed well above Rudy, in this state over a month ago.
Hillary is intensely disliked, even with many of the Democrats. I think it's inevitable that the nominees will end up being Fred & Hillary, but feel that Fred will be the victor. I look forward to his Presidency!

He's not exactly a conservative Christian, is he? Neither are the other two you mention. What's the difference?
When an actor runs straight for a public office as high up as the Presidency rather than learning the political ropes (like Reagan did) in lower offices, I think of total opportunism and I see him coming 10000 miles away.
I have news for you. ANYONE that still supports the war in Iraq will not get elected. Hillary may have supported it at first, but it's not a crime to be deceived, now is it? Rudy as well. He's a RINO, so he's OK by me. He's payback to the GOP for that Zell Miller in Georgia, a DINO. :)

Right now it's impossible to tell. I'd say probably. I think he will experience a big surge in poll numbers at first. Then it may decrease significantly when he starts having to answer the questions he has been avoiding. It's weird because it's fairly easy to see what's happening on Democratic side of things, it seems pretty cut and dried that either Clinton, Obama or Edwards will get the nomination. But on the Republican side? Still really out there as far as being able to predict what will happen, there are so many strange factors.

He had better raise a ton of money if he expects to do that. His laziness has gotten him in the race too late for first. He might be a good coice for second among the GOP. Maybe Rudy can offer him Veep. That would be his 7th career?

Has he ever played a dispicable anti-hero type character in his role as an actor? Just imagine the fun people could have with that here...

Probably not.
Why would the GOP support an ambulance chasing trial lawyer turned insider lobbyist for president. Not only that but he is also one of the "Hollywood Elite" who can't seem to keep his opinions to himself.

If he does, the Republicans have no shot at the White House in 2008.
