Chase Utley. He's a solid fileder and a power hitting 2nd basebman with a good average which is a rare find these days.

Utley is having easily the best year of the three. Next would be Cano, however, Cano still doesn't take a lot of walks, which is an easier game to break down. Pedroia is playing great and coming up big for his team, but he's not having quite as good of a year as the other two.

Hmm.....tough....Utley has the production, Cano is growing into a very good player, but if Pedroia can even come close to duplicating the success he's had this year.......wow. I think I'd go with Utley because of the track record, but Cano is younger, so you could get more years out of him....but as a Red Sox fan, I've always had a soft spot for Pedroia :)

Chase Utley now, Cano for the future.

Either way you can't really go wrong...but age wise you have to go with either Pedroia or Cano since these guys are four years younger than Utley...I have to go with my boy Pedroia since I am a Red Sox fan I can't go against my team...plus Dustin has been really good for us and he looks to have a bright future at second...but after that Cano...he is a really good second baseman and he too should have a good career.

chase utley, than robbie cano, dustin pedrioa in that order.

In a couple a years though, cano can be a 30 HR, 100 RBI, 330 hitter.

Chase Utley is a well-rounded baseball player with spectacular talent.

Cano, without a doubt. Most major league scouts are comparing him already to Rod Carew, one of the best hitters of all time.

Pedroia conistent? How can you tell? He's a rookie and not to mention he got off to a slow start. He is solid defensively but doesn't have near the power of Cano or Utley. Cano is better that Utley defensively and is a more complete hitter as well.

Utley by far. He is the best second baseman in the game. Cano and Pedroia should not even be considered here. Maybe Brian Roberts and Brandon Phillips come close, but thats it.
