Keep it dry and clean.
Sweat and dirt with the clothing abrasion will cause that.

Sounds like you have a MALE YEAST INFECTION. If it was Jock Itch-your scrotum would not be affected as much as the insides of your groin/thighs. The symptom of Scrotum to the anus is probably a yeast infection from bowel movements not being cleaned off enough and moisture in the area-the runs will cause it if you are loose boweled for a long period of time. See a Dermatologist and he'll do a skin scrape to confirm it and give you ointment to get rid of it. USE OINTMENTS if at all possible- they last longer on the skin and so then-the medicine will to! Cremes do not work as well. AND use pure J&J Cornstarch powder-not talc! after putting the oinment on-it will cool the itching. Good luck! Have them every great once in a while, (especially in teh hot summer)-a lot of hair there and moisture is the biggest culpret!

I think jemmaloo04 has the right idea. Except, instead of vaseline, I would suggest Gold Bond powder. The crotch area is not a good place to keep moist. Rather, you want to keep it dry.

sounds like a sweat rash, wash the area with mild soap and warm water, pat dry, apply some moisturiser, allow that to soak in to the skin then apply some vaseline to the affected area, should be fine if you follow that until it clears up.

trim the hair and use some ointment. Wear boxers so your stuff can breathe
