If you want front row seats, you have to order your tickets the day they come out usually, because a lot season ticket holders have the best seats... Producers and theatre reviewers tend to try and get those seats as well so again, call in/go online as soon as possible.

Other times, you can get front row seats with just luck. I went and saw "The Phantom of the Opera" on Broadway and on the day of the show, we got the last four seats which were in the front row. The same sort of thing happened when I went to see "The Producers". But there's no guarantee that'll happen.

when you call the ticket office ask them for front row seats. they probably cost more.
