maybe it was that whole Katrina thing....maybe when they saw the numerous black people on tv crying for help and Bush continued his vacation, it left a bad taste in their mouth. Maybe when they saw Bush show up at the tornado sites in the midwest the day after they happened, it infuriated them even more.

Oooooh, I love this.
It reminds me of the correlation of smoking to lung cancer and how it's paraded around. The ACS says that smokers are 20x more likely to get lung cancer than people who don't. I believe that statistic. But what does it mean and what does the raw data look like?
Turns out that the statistics say that 1 in 100,000 non-smokers get lung cancer. 20 in 100,000 smokers get lung cancer. That is what is known as a statistical irrelevance, but when you see "20 times more likely" you think OH MY GOD! It's shoddy and it's dishonest.
