in my computer i had a compaq lan card few days before i put out from the mother board slot & uninstall it & placed a new lan card(D-link),my question is in my network place is showing both two lan card present. in every time i need to uninstall compaq lan driver, after restart computer it comes back.
can anyone solve my problem??

Take a look at the Device Manager GUI and see if you can disable or remove the device.
Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Management
Go to the Device Manager entry and then expand the Network Adapters in the right pane. If your Compaq device is showing up, try a scan for new hardware, delete, or disable to see if you can resolve the problem.
The other thing to check would be the Network Connection menu.
Start->Control Panel->Network Connections
See if your Compaq card is showing up there and try to disable or delete from there.
