(MY own "Personal Best" was in 2001, nearly $700.00 in a wallet on a Pay-Phone shelf. DID I return it, since I also had the ID & address? ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!?!)

I found $100 once. I didn't return it I spent it.

I found 70 bucks on a window sill while playing hide and seek when I was little. It was wrapped around a rock and tied with a rubber band. I think it was some kind of drug deal. I took it. I was like 6, that was A LOT of money to me. I gave it to my mother so she could pay the bills. I told her I found it on the street.

Then I found 50 dollars in a change purse when I was 10. There was no ID, just the pouch and the money, and some lipstick. I threw out the lipstick (EW) and again, gave the money to my mother.

I was a teenager working at a Wendy's and while I was cleaning the restrooms I found a purse containing 500.00 I did let my manager know but nobody did claim it in the time allowed there were no types of identification so I got to keep the money and the purse guilt free.

I found a wallet with nearly $600 in the lobby of a resort hotel. When I realized that perhaps someone's family vacation would be ruined because of it, I took it to the desk and they contacted the owner. The f***er came and got the wallet and did not even say thanks to me.

the atm spit out and extra 40 bucks once. I have found wallets over the years but returned them. Sucks when people do not give a reward.

Five dollars. I stepped out of my vehicle, and there it was in the gutter. Then I remembered that I had lost five, when doing a help on the same route on the day before. I guess you could say, I returned it.

I found a wallet with $500 once, I wanted to keep it, and I was going to , but my preacher happen to see me pick it up at the gas station. I went back in and found who it belonged to, and he ende up giving me $100. So, it does pay to give it back!

I found a five dollar bill when I was in elementary school, I turned it in and then a week later no one claimed it so I got to keep it. I still remember buying a treasure troll with the money at our local walmart.
