definitely tonks. she was so young and full of life, just having given birth. a baby can live without one parent, but to be childless just like harry!? not fair.

maybe fred too. so young and full of life. he had so much left to do.

snape... even though he was on the good side and in love with lily and everything, his personality was still miserable and annoying and bad. he won't be too greatly missed.

lupin was a wereful and had sort of a miserable unhappy existence as it was for the most part.

hedwig was an owl.

dobby sort of had that miserable existence thing going on too. lesser intelligence. did everything needed to do. death was good.

voldemort, of course i dont grieve that!

so tonks or fred.

I would say Lupin except he was basically pushed to the background and didn't have a significant role in the story. I think I was affected more by Dumbledore's death in the last book than by any character in the seventh book.

I miss Dumbledore the most but since that wasn't in book 7 I would have to say Snape. From the first book I've been infatuated with him, wondering where his true loyality was. The last book wrapped up his storyline so well and it made me really wish he would have lived! Good Question:)

Well I was really upset when Moody died because he was such a good Auror and so clever and he has survived encounters with countless dark wizards before, I just never imagined him dying!
And then I got all excited when they go back to Grimmauld Place and there was the ghost thing of Moody because I thought he was alive and hadn't been fooled by Lord Voldemort! : (

Oh yeah and I wish Fred hadn't died either!

Dobby for sure. He was so loyal to Harry, a real friend. Harry loved Dobby very much, and it was very sad to see such a good character go after helping out so much.

Hmmm...
Hedwig, Dobby, Fred Weasley, Tonks, and Lupin
Fred mostly, I loved Fred and George!

I think the death that moved me the most was Dobby. The one that shocked me the most was Fred Weasley.

Dobby and Fred. Dobby because it was so unexpected and I'd really grown to appreciate him. Fred was also unexpected and he was so young.

I thought Tonks and Lupin were going to die once they made Harry godfather so it wasn't as sad to me.

Voldemart. Not so much because he died (he was a creep) - but because I had hoped that Rowlings/Harry would be a able to pull a "Darth Vader" and "save" even him in the end. Was kind of disappointed that she didn't. She did such a good job of "saving" everyone else, even those who died.
