The first thing I would do is change to a healthy diet (it takes a couple of weeks of eating healthy before you'll notice), then increase your DAILY exercise and water intake. You should feel much better. If not go to doctor, he'll probably start with your thyroid.

Drink a powerade, it has vitamins b12 and b6 which are energy boosters. eat some peanut butter on whole wheat toast. Keep away from anything with too many carbs, or anything that has Fructose, Glucose or Sucrose in the ingredients as they give you an energy boost for a few but the sugar high is over quickly and you crash and feel even more tired than before!
Sometimes a B12 and B6 pill a day will give you the energy you need to keep going. :o)
Feel better soon!

Make sure you are not over or under sleeping. Most adults need between 7-10 hours sleep a night to be alert. Make sure you are eating 5 portions of fruit and veg every day, and avoid carbs mid afternoon. Exercise at least twice a week (a 15 minute walk is enough) and if you are lacking energy after that, you may have to visit your doctor, as you may have something wrong.

Go to the doctor....with that said if you wake up the same time everyday your circadian rhythm will be balanced and will probly give you more energy that means if you wake up at 6:30 during the week waking up at 6:30 on the weekends will acutally help you sleeping more is the complete opposite of what gives you energy........ if you sleep in one day til like 2pm yeah you will be up all night but you will be lazy and sleepying

Make sure you get 8- 10 hours of sleep every night. Drink a lot of water, and eat healthy, balanced meals. Make sure you eat breakfast. Drink tea, not coffee. Make sure you're not overwhelmed with too much work or anything, take time to relax every now and then. The best food to eat when you need quick energy is fat - chicken, cheese, anything along these lines. Don't eat sugar, that'll just make you feel worse.

Caffeine is my friend but its effects may cause you to lose sleep or highten stress levels. Different people have different reactions.
Sometime feeling exhausted is from dehydration, over working, over tiredness (sleeping too much), too much sugar in your diet, stress, hormones. It could be anything. Also keeping your brain active by watching tv, playing video games or being on the computer or listening to loud music on a consistant basis can cause you brain to become worn out from being over-stimulated.
If it really is that bad I would suggest seeing your doctor/GP. Exhaustion can often be quite serious but you can also get treatment for it.

Rest and a good diet should help give you more energy. Eating right and a little exercise mixed with adequate sleep will do wonders for your energy level.

If this is an ongoing problem your doctor may perform tests-even though you are into alternative medicine.
It could be something like chronic fatigue syndrome.
If you ever get that diagnosis, the hospital below are experts at finding the cause which is often infection related, for which they offer treatment.

There are a lot of things that can cause fatigue. The most common culprits are a poor sleep schedule, depression, and anemia. If you notice your fatigue increasing around your period then some extra iron supplements may be all you need.
