I can't believe that you think every answer is good! Some answers are worthless, and some just parrot what somebody else said!
It defeats the purpose to give EVERY answer a "thumbs up", and similarly with someone giving every answer a "thumbs down".
Although I seriously doubt that people keep track of who got the best answers, it might be nice to see folks' total number of thumbs up/downs in their avatar's answer mouseover, so that we could see whether they are revered or reviled. Unfortunately, there are some out there who give EVERYone good or bad ratings (hmmm . . . why does that sound familiar?), or just click on one of the thumbs, randomly, or feel the need to "attack" a decent answer or person for no real reason, or, conversely, "praise" a lousy answer or person.
However, since anyone with intelligence will regard the answers at face value, and ignore the "thumbs" altogether, then knock yourself out!

I don't, oh get this, i said that I just completed Diablo 2 on Assassin and that I'm level 78, some dude called Green Merklar comes along and says..... " So! I've completed the game thousands of times and it only takes a couple of days to get to level 78!" I mean how rude! How can you get that far in two days! I mean does he have a life!!

No. I actually read the answers first and then determine if it has anything to do with the question that I asked. Why give a thumbs up to someone who just put anything.

except this one time where some chick actually called me stupid for asking something. I gave her a thumb down and sicced one of my Turkish friends on her..they can have a cruel streak when needed....

If I like the answer I do and sometimes I do it just because someone was kind enough to answer my questions.
