The very last thing I do is unscrew the light bulb so that I can leave the fan on because the little pulley for the bulb is gone. But before I unscrew the light bulb...I get naked...I sleep naked.

Check the locks, scan the windows... peek at the kids. Set the alarm for the next morning, and take a look at my wife's happy face while sleeping (vs. the face I usually see, chasing the kids all day).

I take off my socks if I'm wearing them, set my alarm on my phone, sometimes go through texts, straighten out the pillows and blankets, turn off the lights, say my prayers, hug my teddy bear.
