No, everyone knows that Iran is sending weapons and IED materials to Iraq. Hell, we've caught dozens of Iranian soldiers and "consultants" over there already. Now we're finding evidence of Iranian-borne materials in the bombs in Afghanistan, too. The evidence is overwhelming and anybody who says it isn't has their head in the sand. I think Petraeus should pull everyone out of Iraq and conquer Iran.
God bless America!

1. During the first Gulf War, Saddam said if we invaded Iraq it would be 'the mother of all battles'. At that time he hid caches of weapons all over the country.
2. Later, when we -did- invade Iraq, our soldiers saw large warehouses of weapons being emptied, but because Bush and Rumsfeld wanted to invade 'on the cheap', our soldiers weren't able to protect these weapons and keep them out of enemy hands. Just as they weren't able to protect every Iraqi govt. building from looting. Except the oil ministry.
3. It's come to light in just the last couple of weeks that about 1/3 of the weapons we've shipped to Iraq are missing, unaccounted for. Who do you suppose has them?
Considering all these things, doesn't it seem kind of silly to accuse Iran of supporting the insurgency? Maybe they are. Probably so are China and Russia. Maybe Turkey too. The US supplies most of the arms in the world, so it's likely that a lot of the weapons being used by the insurgency started out here.
Do you think just bombing Iran is going to change anything? I mean for the better?

I'm sure some munitions are getting into Iraq from Iran, but I doubt the Iranian government is involved. To blame their government cause people are bringing weapons from Iran to Iraq would be like saying it's the USA government fault if a crazy liberal bought a bunch of guns, drove to Canada, and shot up some people.

I really believe that Iran is not supplying weapons and equipment to insurgents. Please. Who makes these weapons and equipment? Do you think the government of Iran is that organized and would take such a risk?
More importantly, where is the evidence? I do not trust anything that comes out of the Bush administration. They have proven again and again how untrust worthy they are.

No more than America is providing weapons to the opposition forces of their choosing?
Blowback dude
It seems like some people only see one side of Foreign Policy
I think we all know why!
We are on occupied land - Iran is not
If a foreign Nation invaded and occupied America and Canada sent in troops to help get them out - isn't that kind of the same thing.
Wake up!

i assume everybody knows this, just as i assume everyone knows that the 5 tons of anthrax and mustard gas Saddom had is somewhere, even the U. N . acknowledged this much. what can we do? to many dems crying with there eyes shut, but mostly afraid the office wouldn't be theirs again if they didn't run the effort to lose in Iraq in the ground as best they can. the Quran tell them to kill westerns,, maybe some haven't figured that out yet , but Bush did, he had the coconuts to start doing something, now if you fools think policing the nations for terrorist will do a better job, then we are doomed when dems take the office back. too bad we lost the word United in our own States,,, Theres a tear in my beer.

I don't doubt it. However there was already a cache of abandoned weapons in Iraq which were not secured when we first invaded. I would also like to know why exactly is using the 190k missing the 190k weapons shipped into Iraq by the US.

I believe the US and Israel are trying desperately to find some evidence over Iran's uranium enrichment program that is legal under UN standards. Not that I support it, but I don't think we should bomb another country based on LIES!

Iran has murdered our soldiers. If ever there was an act of war, it's what Iran is doing every day, sending supplies, trainers and volunteers to murder our troops.

Don't you watch the news. They are. We don't have the manpower to fight in Iran too otherwise we would. Nobody wants to bring back the draft, it's political suicide.
