NOW - the tech says to me at the end- "I am guessing that you do not want polish..." My wife's teasing that I should get my toenails painted aside, wouldn't the tech have been surprised if I said "well, actually, I did want polish....". ??
Not to be overanalytical, but she brought it up, and I just wonder how often they end up painting a guy's toenails....
and I am talking about getting a color...

hey sweetie- yes indeed SOME guys do get a color! I've been at the nail salon and I have seen my share of things just from going in there and getting mine done. I once was in there, and a transsexual came in, and phew that guy/woman got it all. Long Long nails put on, flamming pink color, and their toes colored,and all. So yea if you said you wanted color they prob. wouldnt have looked at you funny, because they do it all day everyday! Hope I helped you answer your question! and good luck!

I've seen some men sporting black polish on fingers and toes. If the nail spa you went to was one of the more trendy types, this would explain her question. There are also clear matte polishes that are specifically for men. One brand I came across was "Nails for Males".

hahaha, don't get color, is your wife serious? I mean come on. Pedicures are no big deal, guys get them all the time, if I was the person doing your pedicure and you asked for color, I would think your gay, honestly. So yeah I wouldn't say anything, but I'd think that you were gay.

Me and my mom painted my Dads toes once on Mothers day. She got to do whatever she wanted!
