I think each country looks at themselves as "the good guy" and as the competitor If you wish to call China that looks at themselves as "the good guy" Its really all a matter of opinions. As I personally live in the United States, I can say from my own opinion that our cause in Iraq is wrong, and I would like to see how far China goes in Africa, the next 50 years will be interesting....

US will be leaving Iraq, perhaps too soon but leave they will.
Good? Bad? Who knows? The intentions were good.

China is using Africa as its testing ground for how to extend power beyond its borders.

They have coupled that adventure with developing submarines that, although are conventional diesels, are able to go deeper and quieter than anything other in existence. Also have deployed surface ships that have no other purpose but to sink air craft carriers.
Looking at them as a good guy in Africa is a mistake. They are becoming everything the condemned about the US.

You do ask good questions maybe that's why I put you on my "Friends and Family" (LOL). But it is said that China is not exactly bombing them to death as the Americans are in Iraq so obviously there will be much back slapping and drinking and deals made.

Last time I was there on a visit there were Chinese restaurants everywhere so it cant be all bad.

"For now, America and China have every incentive to come to peaceful terms when it comes to dividing the world up as economic colonies. Not only are the finances and productive capability of the two deeply intertwined, but by working in cooperation they can deflect much of the negative press that might otherwise accompany the process of acquiring undue influence and promoting violence and chaos in extra-national territory."

They should all get out and now. Too much of a big bloody mess has been made.

Daniel 2:44
And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite.

This means those who continue to war and be involved with politics and the slaughtering of their brothers domestically or over seas, will suffer annihilation should they not get out from under the deadly and unclean thing; man's militaries.

None of these ones warring are acceptable to God and soon they will band together when Armageddon steadily approaches. They will band together to "take on God's war and Jesus" who will be heading up the war himself. God will smite them and then destroy them because man's militaries are of no comparison to God's war against the wicked and rebellious ones in the earth.

I cannot wait until this time. Keep abstaining from the unclean thing. Keep on the narrow path to life.

China is in Africa for economic reasons and is not doing it militarily, but rather diplomatically.

America is in Iraq for economic reasons and is doing it militarily.

I like China's way better.

That is as simple as it gets.

Peace
