Yes! Keep it up! Walking is the perfect exercise designed for the human body. It helps slow your life-pace down, and you can actually stimulate all of your senses, something driving and computers deprive us all of.
And save yourself that $18.95 by not getting "pulled-into" some exercise scheme. There are money-grabbing opportunists everywhere, just tryin' to make a buck by preying on our normal weaknesses.
I see that answerer as a solicitor.
But the ones who are giving the advice about changing to mostly water, and reducing your caloric intake, and walking with a cellphone and possibly a friend for safety, are the ones who I would take advice from!
Losing weight is admittedly more difficult that gaining. but the health rewards are priceless. To accomplish this will be one of the most gratifying aspects of your life. But never try starving yourself; it'll take the fight outta ya.
Just remember that walking alone won't do it, but it will give your brain some extra, well-needed oxygen to help you find a more positive perspective on replacing some old habits with healthier ones!
Hope this helps....
And watch out for them ponds!

A good way to lose weight is definately to walk a lot. Also, try to eat a vitamin every morning, have some cereal most mornings along with some fruit, maybe cantaloupe, drink a lot of water, and in my opinion try skipping lunch every day and only eating breakfast and dinner. Keep up the walking. Hope I could help.

I have no idea how far that it but it certainly sounds impressive. I'd think any kind of exercise is good for you but you might be well advised to research sustainable diets and the best kind of exercise to tone / build muscle so that it becomes easier. 70 pounds is a lot of weight to loose remember it takes time to see results, dont be put off it after a week or two you dont see much change, stick at it and just always think how chuffed you'll be when you reach your target weight and you struggle less with everyday tasks.
Good luck! âº

walking is great exercise, and yes it will not only help you lose weight but it will help tone. Just be careful, take your cellhone with you. Maybe it would be good too to walk with a friend, maybe more secure to get a spa membership, or get some kind of home equipment..

Yes, that is good. Any excercise that involves sweating or makin your heart rate faster is good for you. Keep it up, and do more than just walking. If your trying to lose weight fast, replace all/most your drinks with water.
