He was on the command module...Here`s a thought...don`t you think the first space mission to the moon should be made into a movie? I mean, we got Apollo 13...why not a space mission that actually landed on the moon? Not enough drama? I think it would sell a lot of tickets!

He was in the command module in orbit. Not a good place to be for the history books, but essential. IF things had gone wrong on the lunar surface, he would probably have been the only one that made it home.

Hmmm. There's a possible story there......
