Jimi Hendrix - he combined blues with rock and made sounds that no one before or since can duplicate. He was able to play rhythm and lead on the same guitar at the same time and have complexity to both.

That's hard to answer, since you are saying of "all time".
There are many great guitarist that have come and gone
from every generation throughtout time.

Richard Thompson. If you don't know who he is, go on YouTube and look up a song called "52 Vincent Black Lightning." NO other guitarist listed by other folks can play like that. If you look at other videos, you'll find that he plays electric guitar just as well, if not better.
