I registered with the 'Do not call Registry", however it seems not that telemarketers found another way by conducting surveys. I received 2-3 almost everyday.

By allowing your phone company to rip you off. Get a new phone number and pay for an unlisted number.

When did you register with do not call? It can take a couple months to take effect. When I registered, it stopped these kinds of calls cold.

Politicians can still call though, so I still get those, and you can't stop them either. Just say "I'm too busy" - if they persist, hang up.
