You will feel it when your body is being stretched beyone recognition.

I didn't have any stretchmarks until I was in my final month. I never gained weight during my pregnancy, until the last month, when I gained 40 pounds due to preeclampsia.

Even my feet have stretchmarks from water retention.

No cream in the world will eliminate stretch marks. They occur in a deep layer of skin which never comes into contact with cream. It is a result of growing rapidly, then losing weight rapidly.

It won't hurt to use cream with no perfumes. At least it could protect you against dry, itchy skin that gets really bad starting at around 6 months. Put it on after you get out of the shower.

I didnt start showing til my sixth month and thats when i ended up getting alot of mine. Palmer's isnt working for me, so maybe you should try something else? I learned about this cream called Barmon Stretch Mark Cream. They guarantee that it works or they'll give you your money back. Ive tried this product and it really worked, you could barely see the stretch marks after a month and i started seeing results days after i started using it, it worked wonders! I have tried several different things, including Palmer's Coca Butter, and its the only thing that worked. You can find the link on my myspace page at myspace.com/ladykiramina. Just check it out, it has great before and after pictures that will leave you amazed They worked so well, ive started promoting for them!

Although lotions and creams might help for a little while, if you are going to get stretch marks, you're going to get them. Unless you have good genes or were very active before you got pregnant, it is partially out of your power. Don't worry about stretch marks though. You may or may not get them. My weight fluctuated a lot when I was younger, so I already had some anyway... eventually they virtually disappear and are hardly noticeable.

I noticed stretch marks one day while I was waiting for my bath water and if I recall correctly, I was about 5-5 1/2 months, my lower tummy was covered in them and they just managed to get worse after that. I hate telling people this but it doesn't really matter what kinds of lotions or how much you use of them it won't really help all that much, they are good to use but unfortunately if you were "born" to get stretch marks than you will get stretch marks. It all has to do with the elasticity in your skin and that will never change. The good news? THEY ARE DEFINATELY EARNED!!! EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM!!

I got my stretch marks when I was 6 months pregnant. There is nothing in this world that will cure stretch marks unless you get plastic surgery. Just enjoy your pregnancy because as times go by and your baby gets older you look at your stretch marks and remember. Good Luck.

Getting rid of stretch marks is rather a difficult task. The most effective way to handle this problem is to follow a proper care routine that prevents their occurrence. Massaging on the stretch marks serves as an excellent home remedy for stretch marks removal. You can either use olive oil, flaxseed oil, vitamin E oil or cod liver oil for the purpose of massage. I'm 36 weeks and don't have one (knock on wood!). I used the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lotion for most of my pregnancy until one day I got a rash from the stuff...I have no idea why, but I did. I switched to Vaseline Cocoa butter and it seems to be working fine...smells a lot better too!

I didn't get a single one UNTIL week 38 and I had him at 39 weeks. I had almost made it...but the ones I got are very small and not noticable unless you are right up on them. I had used palmers too. Good luck! Drink lots of water that is the best way to ensure good skin elasticity...there really aren't any magic potions!

You have to keep in mind that the more you expand so will your skin and the need to "SCRATCH".Do not scratch, rub baby oil, lotion, whatever soothes the itching. When I was pregnant I had to keep in mind to massage the itching parts with some form of lotion instead of scratching the skin while it was dry. I get quite a few compliments about not having any stretch marks on my stomach. So don't forget to rub or massage the skin with some form of lotion,no scratching dry skin!!!
