I like to purchase a big screen laptop..latest model.price range around 2000 and up....suggest me which brand is suitable..sony is alright but the screen size is small..

If you want a PC, then Dell makes a 20.1" XPS system and Alienware has a laptop with a 19" screen. If you don't want a PC, then a 17" MacBook Pro with a high resolution screen would be good for you.

If you WANT a large screen and are willing to pay the LARGE price, it sounds as if you're into graphics and/or gaming. Maybe you also want raw POWER! Then, IMHO, dig into a souped up MacBook Pro.
Second choice, durability-wise (far above all the rest, AND pricey, AND powerful as all get-out, and super-humongous for a laptop...) would be in the IBM/Lenovo line...
Third choice, HP
All in order of ratings by consumerreports and PC magazine and my own experience

this site will give you a sony vaio laptop just for completing some quick online tasks! really recommend it, especially if you're broke but really want/need a laptop (like me).
