Anybody that can smile while soldiers are dying should be punched. Bush's best consists of insider trading, going AWOL from the guard during Nam, running the Texas Rangers organization into the ground and sticking the tax payers in Texas with the bill, lying to go to war, dividing a once strong and united country, being involved in the S&L scandals, trampling all over the constitution he pledged to uphold, an illegal wire tapping program, setting up illegal prisons, ignoring New Orleans after Katrina and spending more time on vacation than in office. I could go on and on but it will just piss me off some more.

So having a smile on his face makes him great. If that is the case the villiage idiot would be great. He smiles because he hides the fact that he doesn't know what he is doing. I have noticed one thing, however, the silly smirk he had prior to November of 2006 has disappeared.
The ability to act silly or crack jokes doesn't make one able to make decisions that can change the future of the world in any positive way.
You may be right when you say he has done his best. Considering his life long record of failures his best isn't really very good.
He is a liar, corrupt, incompetent, arrogant and greedy.
I don't and never have hated him. I do point out things I strongly disagree with. It one's patriotic duty to call our leaders on poor decisions or things they do wrong.
Yes he is out going and in January of 2009 he will be going out. Not too soon if you ask me.

All Americans love Bush. We love his lies to start a war. We especially love giving the money to finance his war. We don't want to see those coffins coming home, so we asked him to hide them. We agree with his Mama, why should we see something that would upset our beautiful minds?
We love his treatment of prisoners. We share his joy in executions, and love to think that we are torturing prisoners in Iraq. Waterboarding is our favorite sport. It should be a part of the Olympics.
We love the way he spends money wisely. He has built us a lavish Embassy in Iraq. Why waste money on body armor or armored Humvies when all of the important people need a comfortable place to sleep?
He is our beloved Decider. He protects us from nucular attack. He tells us when to be afraid, which is most of the time. He helps us keep our jobs and our houses, and we all make huge salaries with those great tax breaks.
Who cares if lumber trucks make roads in the National Forests? Who cares if billions of dollars go down the drain in Iraq? Let the bridges collapse and the polar bears die! We love George Bush. We're looking forward to his next war with Iran! It should be as much fun as Iraq! Maybe more! Lovable George will lead the way!

When half the country doesn't want to go to war, maybe he should listen. I think it is more important to listen to the half that doesn't want our sons and fathers dying than the half that just wants revenge (even though the CIA alerady prooved Sadam had nothing to do with the terrorists).
I can accept someone making a mistake now and then. But this is just gross negligence.
Not to mention, just like his father, he lied about taxes. He also has employed some pretty shady characters in his administration. We should do the world a favor, fire all politicians, and start all over again.

You base your presidential opinion on who has a smile on their face? Sure, Hitler liked pets, isn't that a wonderful sign for his worthiness of power? Wow. You amaze me.
President Bush is doing everything that the big-money corporations want him to do. Not bothering to increase minimum wage, which does not in fact "price workers out of their jobs", getting away with squandering billions of dollars on a civil war THAT IS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS...
Protecting us from terrorists is a joke, long forgotten. We are in fact committing more acts of terror in Iraq than have been comitted against the US. It was the same in the Vietnam war, simply lining people up and shooting them down. Simple and easy and detestable.
Iraq isn't even the cause of the Al-Qaeda attacks. Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with them, and Bush, who desperately needed an excuse to control Iraq so that he would have control of its massive oil fields, tried to tell the public that Iraq had WMDs... All BS.

For those who disagree with the statement on top of this page. Are you doing something about it? Or is it OK to rant but you don't bother to actually do something?
Join the General Strike on 9/11/07. Or don't, but act for change in some way!

Oh yeah. A real good guy. Never mind the billions of embezzled dollars going to all his cronies.
What's a little public money mis-spent.
Never mind lies to send our troops to the wrong war while we let the bad guys get away. Just a little startertegic goof. Loveable really. Ask a soldier with his legs blown off. All perfectly all right because George smiles and jokes so much.
Yup. Jokes and nicknames! That's what makes him a great guy... and he has tried soooo hard!
Sorry, but I don't think so.

"he has done his best"
This isn't a swim meet for 2nd graders where everyone is a winner and gets a blue ribbon. This is the Presidency of the United States. We want someone whose best is best for America. Just because he tries really hard, and smiles with the press doesn't mean he is a good or even an average president. We have to judge him by the results of his policies and whether they work or not. I don't hate him, but his policies are abysmal failures.

He's not The guy some here portray. He's got the hardest job on the planet. He's losing most of his inner circle of friends like Rove and Gonzoles. and when he goes home, he hounded by the Cidy Shehan types. He never immagined any of this when he ran for the job. History will treat him better than we will at this point. Harry Truman faced the same thing. Overtime, he's looked at alot better.
