Your sample size is a few hundred bets too small for anyone to make a guess at your skill. You're right in that for the vast majority of people it's mostly luck and some educated guessing. Linus says it perfectly in that hardcore sports bettors think they know it all. Most of them are career losers. The most important thing to keep in mind is that you don't just have to be better than the people setting the lines, you need to be so much better than them that you also beat the vig charged by the bookmaker.

Stop betting on baseball is good advice. The odds are stacked against you.
