I am supposed to start my period today...has not come yet. I felt crampy all week and bloated. Last night I had really bad cramps that just hit suddenly and went away. I thought for sure I would have it by the time I woke up this morning. I'm not trying to get pregnant; but, if it happened I would be happy. I'm just wondering what everyone thinks. This is supposed to be the day I start. I have a 34 day schedule. Thanks for your opinions

Is your cycle always 34 days, without fail? If not, then it could be that you're just running a day late, but if you always have a 34 day cycle or less, then I would suspect there's a possibility that you're pregnant.

I would definitely go out and get a test. If you are pregnant, a test would be able to detect it already.

Good luck with whichever result you're hoping for!

At this point it's really a toss up. Your symptoms could be PMS or pregnancy. However, if you are pg, a home test would be accurate by now. I'm not really sure what I would do, but you could always wait it out for the rest of the day and see if your period shows. Either way, best of luck to you and your partner.

Well often when your in early prego stages you do fell cramps and a pinching feel on your side. So i suggest that you take the test and hope for the best. If you are not prego, than you should wait for your period. Some ppl periods will change when the season changes.

God bless

I would recommend you to get a pregnancy test at home and then go check with your doctor.
You might be pregnant, in that case: Congratulations!
If not, at least you find out what the heck is happening with your period. If you have an irregular period that might be a good reason. You can tell your doctor if you want it to be regular so he might give you some medication.

Good luck! ;)

You still might get your period. I'm only saying this because I've gone through that a couple of times and been sorely disappointed. However, this would be a good time to take a pregnancy test, as you can expect a reasonably accurate result. Let us know how it goes!

I have the same cycle length as you.

All I can tell you is that when I get pregnant, I have cramping and feel like I'm going to get my period, but it never comes.

Trying to figure out if you have someone else living in there is enough to drive the most sane woman on the planet totally crazy...

Good luck either way you want it.

I had the same thing and then four days later I was throwing up thinking I was really sick and that what had stopped my period I went to the doc and she confirmed I was preggers. Wait a few days if you don't get it get a home pg test. Good Luck

Your not even late yet. You should calm down, being anxious can cause you to be late or even have more cramps. I am very regular with my cycles, but there are still months where I am a day or two late or early.

I would go to the store and get a test. If it is possitve then yay, if not then I am sure once you see that negative that you will get your period not long after that.
Good luck!
