No, Vitter and Stevens are both going strong. Why? Hypocrisy. They only have moral outrage in states with Republican governors to insure the replacement will be a con.

Republican donors have pulled funds from Craig, and the rest are distancing themselves from him faster than a runner at the Olympics, because, of the party's stance towards homosexuality, and, because of next years elections, simple as that.

Well, as a politician you should be a leader. Being a hypocrite and a perve is not being a leader. We have too many hypocrite politicians already. If both the Dems and the Reps rooted out the bad ones, corruption wouldnt be as widespread in the govt as it is.

Jiminy God No!

We would love to keep Senator Craig if he hadn't been outed. We would have kept his secret just as we tried with Mark Foley.

Only those who commit heinous 'crimes' such as soliciting gay partners in a toilet, fraternizing with prostitutes, or trying to seduce underage Congressional pages on line.

Those Republicans who advocate, order, or participate in minor offenses, such as murdering 675,000 Iraqis and 3,800 U.S. soldiers, are honored with medals, lavish lifetime retirement pensions, consultancy fees, and exorbitant health and medical care services. -RKO- 08/31/07

The quicker that they dispose of a gay guy, the less damage done to the 'intolerant' portion of their base.
