first need inner tie rod remover otherwise whole rack needs to be removed

The easiest way I know how to do this is to remove the complete steering rack from the van as there is hardly enough room to do this with it still in place. Once it's out, remove the boot from the side where you want to replace the tie rod. Then it is simply a matter of spinning it off of the threads and reversing the procedure. If you are unsure of what you are doing, get it into a shop as this is a big safety issue. Good luck.

there is a special tool for inner tie rod removal or you can do it with a heavy pliers but you will do some un neccesary work and pain in the as$

pay for the job done because the tool is very expensive
