Yes you can and you can also get pregnant while on birth control. You can get pregnant anytime you have sex period.
It is ok to ask your doctor these questions. I would rather be embarrassed but educated than guess and have regrets.

I did..i got pregnant with my 2nd child on the second day of a normal 3 day period. The egg should have flushed, but it apparently didn't..I know what day it was because my husband (at the time) was only home from Iraq for a very very short time. That's the only day it could have possibly been..There was no other option for 8 months on either side of that day. IT's rare..but it happens.

getting pregnant is possible any time of the month. every month we ovulate on a different day. although its not very common or probable, some girls ovulate while they are on their period and are thus able to get pregnant if they have unprotected sex.

yes,you can..sometimes your body doesn't ovulate when it's supposed to,1/2 way between periods, & it could happen while you're on your period...tell her not to chance it,since it'd be very hard to tell when she's ovulating..could be a quick way to get pregnant

You can get pregnant from sperm that is left in the body if you ovulate early in your cycle or have short/irregular cycles. However, chances are very low.

well dont be fooled. you can get pregnant at any time but its less likely your get pregnant when your haveing a period but on the other hand it happend to me.

you can get pregnant anytime you have unprotected sex. dont want a baby? wrap it up or go on birth control!!!!!
