It's not top of the line, but it should do me fine for the moment, Do you think it will be able to handle Vista Ultimate ? It comes preloaded with Vista Basic ?

I'm not a huge PC gamer at the moment, do I don't really need top of the line....I'll be using this laptop for web browsing, music, school work and the occasional pc game although I'm not going to go nuts over every game out there ?

All in all what do you think ?

This will do me fine until I purchase a Mac Book Pro some time next year hopefully

Regards

Jordan

Can't access the page provided, however, I have a Mac Book Pro I bought in May and I love it. Think about one of the lower end Mac Books if you need something in the interim. That way any games you buy or programs will be ready for the Mac Book Pro when you get that. Check out an Apple store or online and see if you can get one of the previous generation stock thats left too. That will save some cash. Apple just beefed up it's whole line of iMacs & Mac Books so the "old Stock" is a great deal for the price. I know this isn't exactly what yopu were looking for but, consider this. Most major games have Mac compatible versions, a Mac will run either Apple or Windows software (to run Windows you need either Bootcamp provided free from Apple, or Parrallels, and a copy of the Windows OS you want to run) If you invest in a Vista Machine, you'd ned to shell out for the extra Ultimate upgrade you want. When you purchase a Mac you get the full boat of software on all machines, no mix & match. People ask me all the time if I like my Mac. I tell them if my Mac was taken away and you offered to give me any Windows PC free or I could buy a Mac replacement, I would gladly buy the Mac every time.

I think it should do good for the next 2-3 years, the problem is the processor in Celeron, which I don't recommend for Vista and it has only one gig of RAM which will ultimately slow down your internet experience and has large boot up time.Get a Dell instead.Look at this deal it's far more better. You'll even have the option to switch between Vista and XP.

pretty much bottom ended
just stick to supplied vista home basic
doubt if the 'aero' feature of vista home premium even ever enables

vista ultimate might just be the ultimate for it

... sorry to disappoint, but that's the sad truth
