Okay, so I'm 16 yrs old.
Today around 6:40-6:45 AM I was with my friend outside of the laundry place.
Then, i felt a sudden pain in my back, around my right shoulder. I moved my arm around, and this relieved the pain.
Later on, I my vision began getting blurry, and next thing i remember was my frind asking me "are you okay?".
I remember that I felt like I had just woken up, and I got up quickly and felt fine.
My friend says i fell and started twitching and I hit my head on the floor.
It was really hot, I had not eaten yet, and I was probably going on about 5 1/2 hours of sleep due to the fact that it was so hot I could not sleep at night.
So, my question is, do any of you know what this might be?
Has it ever happened to any of you?
My friend says sometimes it happens to his mom due to the heat...

I will tell my mom as soon as she gets home.

have your mom take you to the doctor!

there are a variety of things that could have happened :
your blood sugar could have dropped ,
you could have had a seizure,
you could have had some type of heat exhaustion
or something going on in your body that you are not aware of

please --- GET THE TO A DOCTOR!
make sure he evaluates your blood sugar, your blood pressure

this could happen to you again in a place or time that could be very dangerous!

Well, it could have been heat stroke for sure, if it's a hot day, but the twitching thing makes me think it may have been a seizure. Definitely tell your mom, and see if you can go to the emergency room and get an MRI. You may have epilepsy. I hope, though, that the doctors find that it was something far less serious.

Low blood sugar hon. Gotta keep it normal with protein and eating regularly. when you get that bad a peanut butter sandwich or orange juice does the job till you can have a real meal.

I would suggest seeing your doctor.

It could've been due to you not taking care of yourself. On the other hand, it could be a neurological problem.

Better safe than sorry.

heat stroke probably. If that happens seek out a cool spot, SIP dont guzzle water, and loosen any tight things around your neck and chest (chockers, necklaces, ties, etc...)

It sounds like you might have had a seizure. I would definitely see a doctor- especially if it happens again!
