No, no one has ever called me a "pettifogger".
Having just looked up the word, I do not think I am a pettifogger!

LOL! No, though I have been accused of nit-picking over details but considering that the details usually have something to do with children's visitation rights and the safety of the kids is paramount, I'm proud to nit-pick.
Frankly, most of the people I deal with don't have the first clue as to what a "pettifogger" is and speak using monosyllable words, LOL!
