Yes. The TV and web are nice but it takes a newspaper to get the details of a story. I find that the newspaper has more information. It is a shame that newspaper readership is down, it just shows why people vote the way they do, they do not get all the details and rely on sound bites.

I had a subscription to our local paper for many years, but now I "read" the English-language web editions of about ten dailies from all over the world each day in much less time. I supplement this with English language short wave radio, which has been my chief source of news since 1949. Occasionally I watch news on TV for comic relief.

Yes. Used to buy the prints but now rely heavily on newspaper portals as they are free.

I read books daily. Newspapers - never, because 90% of the written stuff is not true\exaggerated. Waste of time to my mind..

Yes, I do.
Though, sometimes, I wonder why I bother as it upsets me to read certain articles / news or editorials.
Still, there are parts of the paper that I truly enjoy reading like the comics and some wacky notes.

Each and every day! I love the paper - you can walk with it, sit on the porch and read and watch the day start. Informative, fun, deeper than TV and on-line - plus it has some local stuff that you would never see or read otherwise. I love it.

Y!News (AP, Reuters, AFP, Ha'aretz, TIME, Christian Science Monitor, etc) ----> Every day... my establishment sources.
Al-Jazeera -------> Every day... my Middle East source
DemocracyNow! and CounterPunch -----> every day.... my US dissident source.
The Economist --------> once a week.... good source (i disagree with their opinions but the news are thorough)
I also try to follow Latin American issues from our own press, but i do so sparingly.
And of course, there are those yahoos who send me a wealth of links and articles about miscellaneous issues.

If you need any news sources let me know. There are a few expert yahoos I can point you to.
