I participate in a 12 team , standard scoring league with 9 starters per team. I had the 2nd overall pick and my team is as follows:

Starters:
QB - Matt Hasselbeck
RB - Steven Jackson
RB - Cedric Benson
RB/WR - Thomas Jones
WR - Andre Johnson
WR - Roy Williams
TE - L. J. Smith
K - Jason Elam
DEF - San Diego Chargers

Backups:
QB - Ben Roethlisberger
RB - Jerious Norwood
WR - D. J. Hackett
WR - Chris Chambers
DEF - Dallas Cowboys

Any suggestions, comments or analysis would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Your QB situation is not good. Hassle has looked mediocre to say the best during preseason. I don't like your RB situation as even with picking steven jackson, you should have at least gotten a better second than cedric. WRs look good. Kicker is ok and defense is good.

I think you have a fair shot. I mean I would really consider trading up for a better qb maybe using roethlisberger and a Jerious norwood. You should get some people to bite. But yeah, if you upgraded the QB situation top 1,2,3 is likely.

Overall...6/10...here's why

Hasselbeck is pretty average, nothing too special there.

Steven Jackson is obviously amazing, but I'm not sold on benson and jones being the featured backs on their teams.

Roy Williams is a #1 WR, Johnson is a solid #2

LJ Smith is a top 10 TE but nothing great

Your Kicker doesn't really matter, but he's pretty good

Def is #3 behind Chicago and baltimore.

I have 2 major problems with this team. #1- you didn't fell enough holes with great options. Hasselbeck, benson, jones, and LJ smith are good, but not great starters.

#2- I assume you selected Roy Williams with the 23rd overall pick- you could've done much better. Plus, I'm not even sure that you have any player on your team worthy of the #26 overall pick.

It seems to me that you picked over-hyped players. You should've been able to get a better WR in round 2, and a starting QB in round 3.

You probably waited on yor 2nd RB too long. Same with your QB.

Hasselback's okay
Runningbacks are good
Like Jones.
The recievers are very good.
TE's good.
Kicker and defense are good.
Good bench players.

If you want advice, I'd say try to trade Dallas and Chambers to improve on Benson and Hasselback. You can always pick up a free agent bench defense if you want one.

I would rate your team 6.5 out of 10.

your bench sucks and tampa bay's protection is suspect. you forget approximately they play interior the nfc south with carolina and atlanta. look on the offensive gamers on those group. there is a lot of things they are going to surrender interior the those video games. none of your bench gamers are going to do something for you. perhaps bledsoe. for the main section they are the two coming off injuries or under performers. so your suitable case situation is to wish none of your starters get harm. mcnabb performs interior the nfc critical and doesnt have good receivers or a good returned. boldin is great, moss grew to become into great, mason wont provide u huge numbers. johnson is great. bush would be great. witten performs in dallas have been terry glenn gets lots of the balls and stats. so the starters look rather good.
