...Well, dear red wine :believe me they will accept it, you know how it is now, people are desperate to find jobs, (even if it is not their dreamy ones) ,,, they will show the respect to the manageress of course and (ytmahloso laha) to get any promotion, in her back they may tell whatever they think ,driven by the *culture here...(not applied ,,with very few people) ,, did you see Maraty moder 3am,,,, it is again the culture not the religion , not the education....
Red wine: I think I know the aim of your question: and I like to add
During troubles ,people are trying to find excuses for their problems and failures : what is better than discrimination based on gender or religion, in a homogenious society? (We do not havedifferent , races) …
We have to admit that life is so difficult for the young boys and girls, it is getting worse day by day, in the rich Arabic countries like the Emirates … in Dubai, they do not pay that much attention to the difference in religions and genders, they got more civilized, Is it the force of money? Or when people are relaxed they do not follow the primitive skin’s culture, (race, gender, religion)…. Even in the west, when people have sort of difficulty, they tend to use those to discriminate other people (with the high unemployment rate, poverty due to the high living’ expenses, they start also to discriminate others who are different , but using races and religions)
Bottom line: If we want this country to progress, we need to make it rich… How? By rising on our primitive skin ’ culture and discrminarion, by believing that religions are for God, that women and men are equal, that we have to work hard, and respect the guidelines of the society.
(we do not even respect them in YA hahaha)
I do not know if some witness Gamal Abd Al naser era, they taught us all that, we tried to build a country, we had an aim, later , now weare allowing some people to come and say A beard for a man is Fard’’’’to what /where do you expect that, lead us ? We are degrading , if we continue we will be at the bottom of the list
As My friend Mosafwat siad once: Education, Eductaion, and more Education and I add A Correct Education….
*macho macho man.......wmca hahaha

I wont change my direction coz my boss is a woman. I had a boss woman in the past more than once. I can't say a woman or a man is better as a boss. Everyone has a disadvantages and advantages.
Just one advice for any lady if she will the boss. Don't try to be a man try to manage your way. No need to act like a man it's against nature and annoying when a lady uses her voice like a man for example.

It has nothing to do with gender. It depends on the character and personality of the person whether male or female. That's what would make me accept or turn down a job offer. I can't deal with a certain type of people as I put my pride above all else no matter what the pay.

I would happily take it. this gender thing has no bearing on my career. I find ladies more aware of the needs of their subordinates. I'm a guy by the way. I'm sorry to say I have alot of bosses. And I realy can depend on the female ones.
Come to think of it, my boss at home is a lady too. yes maam.

I have no problems with htis whatsoever. In fact from 2000 to 2006 all my bosses were women (three on a row to be exact). And I'm not complaining. On the contrary they were some of the best I worked with. i wouldn't mind working with them again.

Asalam alaikum, I certainly would have no problem with a female boss....as long as Islamic etiquette is followed. Never being alone together, no free mixing, no talking about things other than work......but I find for women its very hard. :( men bosses want to flirt, even brothers with beards....my wife wears niquab and even though she was recommended for a job at the Palestinian hospital, they insisted she take it off. We of course refused, and it was one reason we founded our own clinic....I dont mean to get off track, but my point is only its not just the gender of the boss, but how correct is their interaction....salaams
