I believe that all degrees are hard and require hard work. Nothing is harder than the other, or is it? Is it hard because there's too much work or is it just complicated

I guess it depends on what you are good at. Physics is hard and English is easy to me because I have been better at English since I was 4!

Law is probably hard because it requires a lot of memorization/memory. It also takes a lot more time to get than some other degrees (several years) and has a tough exam before you can get into a law school.

It's very complicated and is like trying to learn a different language and a new way of thinking and reasoning. I cannot say it is harder than any other degree, as this is the only degree I have.

It is hard because there are external standards which must be met, and therefore schools are pushed to provide an education which will allow their graduates to meet them by preparing people for both the practice of law and for the Bar exam. In most disciplines, it is possible to pace what you teach to the needs of the students. If they are slow, you teach a little less so that they can learn something. If they are brighter, you can teach more. This isn't true of the law.

Also, there are several factors about the law itself which make it difficult for some people. The sheer volume of material makes it rough for someone who reads slowly, and you need to be able to write concisely and clearly in order to do well. More importantly, there is a certain type of logic needed to integrate the material and to understand how to draw conclusions from what might seem like a disparate history.

Different things are difficult for different people. I love reading, writing, and logic, so law school, while not easy, was relatively enjoyable for me. I don't want to imagine how difficult something like engineering might be for me, since it incorporates things I don't really like doing.

Having said that, there are some subject matters which are almost universally considered easier, and others that are considered hard. Most people see education and communications as easy majors. Most people see physics as difficult.

because you have to learn alot of legal terms memorize, be able to debate, be able to twist things around, think outside of the box, do tons of paperwork, and keep up with any new bills going through congress along with new laws it's hard work. i am working on being a paralegal basically to be a lawyers biatch and frankly the law is like a prism it's all how you look at it and interpret it thats why it's hard

It's complicated..there are specific terms that need interpretation and rules of use.
There are some laws that are pages long with sections and subsections and amendments....if you don't know what is the true definition or interpret wrong can mean life or death in some instances.

it depends on how your mind works, some people are more anylytical than others.
some minds understand science better.
some people deal with physical science better than non physical.
some people are stronger in the maths
some people think linear and have no idea of concepts
thus people have strong points in different areas while some have a harder time with courses that are not their forte....

It is always changing! That is what makes it "hard".
