Please learn how to structure a sentence. "Is Islam a threat to the world?"
IMHO, the larger threat is rampant ignorance and interference with the government and lives of others. Just because something works for us in the US, doesn't mean that it would work for all others.
The real threat is the growth of all theocracies which promote intolerance. This includes Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and other religions.

Religious extremism is a threat to any free society. Look at at the violence used by some religious fanatics here at home against abortion clinics. Look at all the wars caused by " in the name of God " in the history of mankind.
Religious fanatics are a threat, no doubt, and they come in all flavors.

extremist or fundamentalist islam is, the others are simp;y normal folks engaging in their religions, cool, just like you and i. but, unfortunately, we have to deal with the extremists, and it is difficult to do that when they hide amongst the regs of their sect. it's not a no win, but it is difficult. ideally, the regs of islam will curtail their own, but they haven't up until this point which means we have to keep zeroing in on the extremists. remember, they are still trying to focibly make us all islamists, over here in the US, whether we like it or not. that is the goal of the extremists.

It's amazing Americans are stupid enough to believe this.
Pakistan is the only Muslim country with nuclear weapons.
Even if Iran got them, Israel's nuclear arsenal would wipe Iran off the map if they ever used them.
