Yes, if you hurl it high enough and it creates small droplets. The coffee must be hot, however, since it is through the steam that the energy is lost fastest.

No. Coffee is water-based, and water has a very high specific heat. That means that it has to lose a LOT of heat to change temperature. Even in extremely frigid air, there's no way a hot cup of coffee could lose enough heat to freeze in the second or so that it would be in the air.

no, simply because remember that waters freezing point is 0 degrees celcius which is aproximately -32F so in theory the temperature is not cold enough and besides the second law of themodynamics would not allow it either.
