Yes...it is Entirely Dependent on Your Perceptions of the Situation:

Is "I'm Pregnant!" a Happy Statement?

For a Teen Girl....No
For a Young Couple trying....Yes
For a Broke Couple....No
For a Large Family....shrug, again?
For a Guy....Disturbing

So, just Be Happy in your Own Mind....Don't try to be what Others want.

Happiness is realised through our mind. It is a state of satisfaction. Now, question is whether you need unbroken happiness till death or you need momentary happiness ?. Is it possible to keep the mind stable? In our great epic " Ramayana" has rightly symbolised minds with monkey, since mind jumps like monkey every now and then. However, best among all the monkeys is namely, 'Hanuman" , who did not find his existence even for a moment without his Lord " Rama'. This is a state of mind , which may give a person permanent happiness through his faith. In other words, it may be refer ed to - 'eternal bliss'.

Yes. We find happiness when we see it as happiness. Some people won't see your happiness as their happiness. Because on the one hand, everyone is different, so everyone sees things in different ways. Thus it is only a state of mind.

Yep. There are constant struggles all around you, those of yours and those of others. You keep your mind in a state of happiness, the problems become trivial in nature and easier to resolve, not to mention a "sharing" of this happiness. Yet also remember that in order to sense this happiness, you must endure some form of disappointment or failure or frustration. Conquering these difficulties will bring about confidence and true happiness.

Happiness is the harmony of body, mind and soul. It is not just a state of mind but a state of the heart. Pleasure is a state of mind but happiness is the state of heart. The example I would give is I saw my favourite movie, I am pleased. This is pleasure. I saw my best friend after 30 years, I am extremely happy. This is happiness.

Happiness is the peak of pleasure and enjoyment. It's considered the lasting feeling of such a peak, for as little as a moment or as long as all of eternaty. It however is impossible to achieve as we imagine it to be. We all search for it, atleast most of us do, thinking one day we'll just be eternally blissful without worry or stress. The thing is, we won't. We'll come to realize the few moments of contentment we get in our life, is all the happiness we will ever know.
