I have seen examples of people looking like their dogs and it is absolutely true that spouses as they age look more and more like each other.

My dog is much too beautiful, so not in my case.

I think as people get use to seeing you and your spouse together, they just say you look alike only because that is the common way of seeing a pair together. As far as the dogs go, I wouldn't say I look like my dog, but my dog defiantly has my personality and my husbands dag has his.

Sadly, yes--I do think people look like their dogs. I've thought about that with my dog before. She's cute though, so hopefully I take after her in that way. :) I think some people look like their spouse, but it's not that way with everyone.

Not at all. My dog is a black Labrador mix and I am a fair skinned blond. No spouse at this time. The last one was half American Indian and half Swedish-6'2" large frame and I am a petite 5'2" small frame blond-again no sort of a match.

No. My dog is an ugly little English Bull dog and my wife is beautiful. I don't look anything like either one of them.

I don't know about looking like your dog, but I do believe that married people can grow to resemble each other or it seems that way. I know people like that.
