Nope, because World of Warcraft has a monthly fee.

WoW is a MMORPG, or a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. It can only (legally) be played online with other people. That's where many people get there enjoyment of them game, working with other people to get things done, or competing aginast them to make things harder.

Like many MMORPGs, WoW has a montly fee (around $16 a month) to play. If you don't pay the fee, you can't play the game.

There are such a thing as private servers where you can pay without the fee, but they are usally out-of-date, with low populations. Blizzard frowns on the servers, so they do not advertise themselves.
