Not only is Vet school very hard to get through, it is very hard to get in to. Since there are only 28 vet schools in the U.S., admission is very competitive. You will need a high GPA and score well on the GRE.

Getting through vet school is tough. Be prepared to not have much of a life. At a minimum, you are in class/labs from 8-5 most days, then go home and study the rest of the night. The amount of information that you have to learn in vet school is so much that it is hard to believe vets learn all of that.

Good luck

I would think that any degree that includes getting a doctorate would kill anybody. But You should think about if it's going to be hard. I mean of course it's going to be hard. But if it is something you really want you should go for it regardless of how many years it will take you or how hard the courses are. For me I am in school getting a degree in Athletic training. And it will take me roughly 5 years to complete it. Then after I am planning on going onto graduate school. At first I was like "omg I think I'm going to be in school forever" But this is what I really want and I would do anything to get it. No matter how long I will be in school for. I think you should at least try. Because you never know that someday you might regret the fact you didn't.

If I have been to take my puppy to the vet and discovered the puppy was once filled with melanoma I could desire a vet that were educated in appearing the euthanizing in a humane approach. I have not ever been close a vet university however they often use a constrained quantity of animals and simplest ones that are already going to die. But I actually do not know. All I recognise is what occurred while my German Shepherd who I adored greater than any factor was once loss of life of melanoma. He might no longer be stored. I recognise the veterinarian felt dangerous in view that he knew my puppy good. But it was once the one factor to be performed to quit his soreness. I could no longer desire a vet equivalent to yourself who's afraid to make tough selections.

Vet school is the absolute toughest graduate school to get into. There are only 28 Vet schools in the country (including the one in CA). Most have residency restrictions -- which means that there are only one or two schools that you will even be allowed to apply to. It is tougher to get into than medical school.

You need to be highly qualified to get into Vet school. Given your lack of confidence about the tougher classes, your inability to spell simple words like "too" and your poor grammar, I think your chances of getting into a Vet school are pretty low.

Yes -- classes in Vet school are tough.
