While pumping with a 2-stage Cryopump (1st Stage at 75 K; 2nd Stage at 12 K) Why does Argon kondensate in the second stage, even though its melting point is around 84K??

Aha... its melting point is 84 K at 1 atmosphere. Once you start lowing the pressure, it can drop precipitously!
