I am a Muslim too and like you, I never have supported the terrorists and their horrible acts.

Islam never taught anyone to kill the innocent and no Muslims who does that for no rhyme or reason would be sent to heaven and be hailed a martyr.

I do not condone violence and "jihad" (Holy Struggle) is a misunderstood concept. Students going to school to educate and better themselves is an act of jihad, because jihad refers to the act of struggling to improve one's self and/or society.

In war, of course there are the bad guys and the good guys but what these Islamic terrorists are doing are very wrong. They are killing the innocents and in Iraq, they are killing the innocent Kurds even though they're all brothers and sisters in Islam. Simply said, war is never the answer and these mindless killings must stop now.

But then again, we call the LTTE in Sri Lanka and the IRA in Ireland terrorists but now, they're hailed as freedom fighters. What gives?

My heart goes out to your people. I know that these "Muslim" groups are not true Muslims who are living their religion, but are crazy, twisted extremists bent on destuction. I know 'true' Muslims to be gentle, kind, good-hearted people. It is unfortunate that oftentimes the good people in any group are grouped in with a bunch of wack-o's that just happen to claim to belong to that same group. I don't think you would be blamed unless there was some compelling evidence to suggest your guilt. Being a victim does not make one guilty.

Believe me, I am a Mormon who often gets accused of being a polygamist. I am not and never will be a polygamist. I don't even know any polygamists, yet the stereotype exists because of some people who are dissenters of the faith that practice this abomination.

I don't think you would be blamed if the found your body at the scene unless there was some compelling evidence to suggest your guilt. Being a victim does not make one guilty.

My prayers are with you and your people.

Very few muslims are terrorists. And all terrorists are not muslim, You have some of the same fears a lot of people do, but just keep being a nice person, and hold your head up high.

Religion is being used by certain terrorist group to gain people's support, they are just fighting for their own cause, not for any religion.

In Iraq, terrorist are killing Iraqis, even though they are muslim too. That's because these terrorist don't care about muslim or not, they kill for their own cause.

Terrorist is a threat to everyone.

It's too bad the Muslims of the world, the ones that are seeking peace, don't start policing the Muslim Terrorists, and convincing them that what they are doing is against your beliefs.

Maybe then, the people in the free world, would be more willing to accept the people of the Muslim Faith!

Once you'll do this, then no one will ever have to worry about future Muslim Terrorists, will they, and you will be able to feel safe.

The Muslim Terrorists of the world are your problem, they are from your belief, get them straightened out and then you will be accepted by non-Muslims.

Clean up your own backyard before you tell us to clean up ours.

Hey I completely know what you mean. I do muslim friends that they completely do not condone such behaviour. There are of coz bound to be ignorant ppl who blame the entire muslims in the world, it cant be helped. Alot of muslims are against violence. The way I see it, its more towards individual distortion of religion than a muslims' thing. Whatever that means. lol

I do not fear a terrorist attack, I fear plans in gerneral for other reasons. I believe that it is a stereotype that you have stumbled onto. This means that it is just a matter of time before it passes, and I think that it has already started to happen. Just not as quickly as you would like!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't blame you for being afraid. Perhaps more Muslims like you should condem the actions of the terrorists and not treat them like heros.

Oh, yeah...I know other Muslims who feel the same way. I'm not a Muslim, but I doubt they would blame it on you...I think it'd be pretty obvious you were a victim.

And, as hard as it might be sometimes, just live. :-) We can't control what happens to us.

The problem is that terrorism comes from YOUR religious book, not mine and is integral part of the arabic legacy after centuries of killings and re killings.

I am glad to see a muslim rising his voice though, But seven years late, is too little, too bad and too late.
