There is a third category of person, who knows a lot about a lot of things and then of course, there is a person who knows little about any thing. Little, not a little.
The one who truly knows (that he doesn't really know anything) is the best of all.

One that knows a little about alot of things...then you'd be able to contribute in all situations. Although if you knew everything about Astro physics or bio-chemistry then you'd be minted because everyone would want to know you and obviously have an easier life! However if you knew everything about carpet, then that wouldn't be so good.

To have in-depth knowledge or to specialize in on field will make you more money and means you are passionate about your one area. I am the other type with broad knowledge but not as much depth. I change careers and learn about a lot of things and then move on

A person with a wide range of knowledge and ability is not tied down to a single industry for employment or enjoyment.
I sell myself as a jack of all trades and do fairly well.

I am full of useless knowledge.LoL It depends on the circumstances. Not many people have it easy in life. You see all these rich people and celebrities have all kinds of worse problems than most of us. I'm just gettin' comfortable in my own skin. I think I fall under both, really.

My husband double majored in college and thinks he knows everything. He'll argue with you over about anything. If you trip him up, he'll consult with a book/internet until he's satisfied that he 'knows' the right answer. I could kick him in the shins when he gets like that.

They say the more you know, the more you worry. Sometimes I think they are right.
