Of course they can. That's why when a woman brings rape charges there's usually a medical examination: to prove if there was any penetration.
If a woman is a virgin, a thin veil of tissue called the "hymen" closes the vagina inside. This is torn at the first deep penetration, causing the bleeding associated with your first intercourse.
The hymen can be torn accidentally but this is not common; for example, it's not torn by having a pelvic exam.

Not for sure.

They can tell if your hymen is broken or not. If you're intact, then you're most likely a virgin. If it's broken, it could be because you've had sex, but could be other reasons.

If they do a very thorough exam I believe they can tell if there has been recent penetration especially if it was rough. However unless there is semen inside I don't think they can actually prove that the penetration was from a penis and not from a toy or something.

They never know for sure, though they can know if there has been been sexual activity in the last 48 hours. In the old days they used to say a girl was virgin if her hymen was untouched but nowdays this is higly discredited because some women are born without out, others break it unintentionally while doing sports and some others have an elastic one that never breaks even if they are sexually active.

A regular Dr. can not tell unless they do a pap smear, or check in that area. If you are a virgin you still have your hymn intact which is a give away. However if it is torn then most people assume that you are not a virgin, even though it can be torn playing sports or other tough activities. A Dr. doing a regular exam will not be able to tell. Even if its not a regular exam and the Dr. can see that you are not, he will not/can not tell your parents unless it is life threating.

If your hymen is intact, then yes they can.
If you live in certain coutries and have never produced a male child, yes they can.
If you haven't had intercourse in the last week or so (long enough for the bruising to fade), and had ruptured the hymen via one of many different methods not related to sex...not without tests involving swabs and bacteriological tests.

Yes a doctor can tell so don't tell the doctor any lies. it won't work. AND don't be afraid to see your doctor either because he WILL keep your secret.
