Fasting is for people that want to detox their body and also to lose weight. When you fast the body starts getting rid of fat cells because you are buring more energy due to the rise in your metabolism.

My daughter is currently on a fast of fresh squeezed lemons , pure water, Maple syrup B grade, and capsicum. I dont know the exact mixture but If you want the receipe just IM me and I will get it to you ASAP. She has been on it for about 15 days and she has lost 11 lbs. It hass been rought though because she was dying to eat just after the first day.. Her body did a major detox so stick close to the toilet for number 2. Her Dr said she any weight she loses will stay off especially if she doesnt gum up her colon again. This fast is good for you because you have your minerals supplied in the maple syrup because it is the second tap...so it is providing nutrients.

I dont think you need to fast for 30 days. It is very hard on the body/mental state plus you dont want to harm brain cells ! There is no since in causing trama to the body if you dont have too. Everything in moderation. You will know when you care feeling better.

Also you may want to check out the website for the gluten intolerance diet. Maybe you are just allergic to the food you are eatting and your malnutritioned even though you are over weight.

Fasting (not eating) is not the way to lose weight. It may drop pounds fast, but sooner or later your body will react and start putting on even more weight than when you began. A sensible diet and exercise will remove the weight and help you keep it off better than fasting. It's all about reducing calorie intake and exercising (brisk walk etc.). Fasting also gives you droopy skin if you lose too much weight too fast. It's all about a lifestyle change.

I know fasting is in the bible but people in those days didn't eat what we eat today. If you were to start fasting yes you would lose weight but at the rate 30 days in a row right there you're heading for trouble. If you would fast for thirty 30 days for two months straight your fat suppy would run dangerously low and your body would start relying on your muscle as a source of energy and protein that you get from the food you eat.Your body would also start attacking the calcuim in your bones and make your bones brittle and weak making them eaisly breakable and harder to heal. The answer to your question would be suicide; you would be starving yourself to death. My recomendation: see your doctor he can tell you some ways to lose weight and excerise is always a plus.
