I just bought a netgear wireless router. i set it up and it works fine.
then i went to internet connections and checked on status of packets sent. It was about 1.5k sent and 1.3k recieved. at night i put my comp on stand by. the next moreining my internet wasents workin. all the lights were fine but the packets sent was like 164 sent and 31 recieved. i had 2 restart everything to make it normall again. Do i have 2 do this everytime or wat

PLZ HELP ME!!!

Probably not, I'll bet your ISP's "lease' expired.

Turn off your PC when not needed. Call your ISP if the problem persists.

It might be because you just let the computer idle in stand by mode. Try turning off the computer at night if you are not going to be using it. It will save you the trouble.

1. restart you router. ping any web site you know. use tracert in CMD mode see what speedif speed is low, means its your ISP.
2.call you ISP.
