I kind of don't like it because I think that now this person will be constantly looking into my questions and answers. But sometimes I do enjoy their answers and seeing a familiar face (avatar) every now and then. I haven't added anyone as a contact up til now because I had been wondering if other people feel that way too. Do you feel like it's an invasion of your privacy or something or am I just being too senstive?

It doesn't bother me. This is a community and it's kind of the point. To make new contacts. Good luck. 2D

No I don't feel this way at all. Reason being, if a person is placing something on here that can be seen by literally anyone, then what's the privacy issue? Also some people may add you to the contacts because they assume that you have placed good thought into the answer that you have given them and may want to see how you answer future questions.
Getting back to the privacy thing. Unless you post certain sensitive information on the sight, then there is no way that a person can find out anything about you other than that which is posted. Yes, I believe that you are being just a tad bit sensitive on the issue.

I am only just finding out what being a "contact" entails. It's very nice to be part of the network of people like you, but you are right, having a person continually inspect your questions and answers diminishes one's ability to pop up in different contexts unobserved, being a multiple personality so-to-speak. Is there a way of denying contact?

It sometimes bothers me but not always. The one guy who added me as a contact I also added him as my contact. He actually called me a liar on one of his answers. It hurt me so I deleted him as one of my contacts. He was a jerk! Some of the people on this site don't actually care about anything.

It doesn't annoy at all. When I see that someone has added me to their contacts, I skim some their Q & A and if like they're style, I add them.

It pleases me.I usually write and ask them why they wanted to add me. I have met some amazing people from my contacts, and email regularly with quite a few.
