Coleman, McCain and Romney have all come out against Craig. Is this political exigency? Do you believe they really care about Senator Craig's behavior or do they care more about what Senator Craig's behavior will do to their own political aspirations?

No. I think it's time that we clean house. Guilty or not, he plead guilty and I don't look kindly at law makers who break the law. The same with Vitter. I hope that his constituents vote him out of office when the time comes.

He needs to step down on his own, and let the governor appoint a new republican to take his place, otherwise the party may have trouble next year maintaining his seat in the senate. This needs to go away. The GOP is asking him to get off the bus, not throwing in front of it.

Coleman used to be a democratic Mayor... Has crapped on the republican party ever since Bush came here in support of him being a MN US Senator...
McCain might as well be a democrat...

And Romney needed to ditch him because Craig was Senate liaison for his campaign.

Other than that... I gather there's more republicans in office who know more about this and his past than we do.

If we were not getting into the political season they wouldn't say a word. Coleman had to say something as it happened in his state and the other two are running for president. Otherwise they would do like Hastert with Foley and hide it under the rug.

The 2nd one. Their base consists of funamental christians who do not accept homosexuality. They want to distance themselves from him. On a personal level, I think they could care less. They are politicians after all.

Wouldn't throwing Craig in front of a bus kill the man. Why is the GOP so cold-blooded?

I like it.

Senator Graig walked willingly in front of the bus. He isn't being pushed or thrown by anyone.

I think it is an opportunity to get Bush and the Iraq war off of peoples mind for a little, yeah he is a sacrificial lamb but that's the life he chose in politics.

No, hes a sexual deviant. Is not a matter of being gay, its a matter of trolling bathrooms for sex.

Conservatives arent like liberals in this way. When one of ours has done something wrong, he is punished, not given a medal.

Liberals would be making movies about Craig if he were one of them. Hed be "misunderstood" and a "brave" man. There would be concerts held in his name and it would all be a right wing conspiracy bringing him down, not his own actions.

Conservatives set an example. See how its done flag burners?
